Alumi Craft Class 10 Gets Further Refined

    2016 Alumi Craft Class 10

    Parker, AZ

It’s hard to imagine what would motivate Alumi Craft to refine their class 10 car design. The current car maintains an astonishing finishing rate and has achieved countless race wins and podium finishes. They also hold an equally impressive string of championship titles in several different race series.

“How much better can it get?” mused Alumi Craft’s John Cooley, “We don’t know, but we’ll keep trying to make it faster; the class is stacked with incredible racers who are tough to beat. Class 10 is very special to us. Our first car as a chassis builder was a class 10. We’ve had great success with the existing design, but this new car is for the future. We’ve modified the front suspension, increased wheel travel, and still managed to pare some weight. The car has a new cockpit design and a new body shape. Like all of our new generation cars, we will be testing and racing it in-house to make sure it’s flawless before we release it to our customers.”

After some fine tuning by car builder and former class 10 champion himself John Cooley, the car will debut at the Best in the Desert series Parker 425 in Parker, Arizona February 4-7. Geoffrey Cooley is driver of record on the car.

He will have his hands full with the rest of the Alumi Craft cars in the field like defending champion Roger Starkey Jr. who finished every mile of every race in 2015 and TJ Tuls who finished second in the championship in his first season racing in the class. 11 Alumi Craft cars will be racing in the huge field of competitors that totals 38 cars so far.

The latest generation class 10 car joins their other ground breaking project for 2016, a class 6100/Trophy Truck Spec class truck; the first desert racing truck design offered by Alumi Craft.
